When Floyd announced his comeback on the Eve of the Manny Hatton Fight he new exactly what he was doing.

He'd get to fight the smaller Marquez for an easy pay day.

Manny and Hatton would engage in a War. And Floyd would fight the winner and have a 2nd big money event and an easy nights work.

    Until:

    :scaredas::scaredas::scaredas::scaredas::scaredas::scaredas:

PAC KO's HATTON IN 2 ROUNDS AND SHOCKS THE WORLD.....

Most def not in the 2nd round. I think Espn did a Fight Night round 4 thing on it and Hatton lost by tko in the 9th round.

Hatton had no idea how hard the Pacmonster punched. He was not ready for it at all.

    Yep.

The same thing happened when Pac destroyed Cotto, forcing Floyd to come up with his drug-testing farce. Pac's fight against Margarito doesn't seemed to have helped either.

its friday afternoon here in England and i'm excited for the weekend and the upcoming Bradley/Alexander Fight.

I decide to just post my thoughts, which have no evidence what soever to support it.

It's what i imagined going through floyds mind when he was thinking of coming back.

Floyd went into negotiation with Manny, but Manny chose to fight Clottey.

Hell no. I was at a friends house he was going to hatton. I was going to Pacman. When pacman knocked him out I just finished my 3rd beer of the night. I was like ****!! We watched it over and over again for like 30 mins lol. I felt bad for the Hitman.

You all will think Im a liar but I predicted an early KO For Pacquiao. I didn't give Hatton a chance in that fight. Horrible stylistic matchup for him.

Yeah it's not like Floyd has ever fought guys with KO power.

And manny only sparked Hatton who was already KOed by Floyd. Floyd has much better defense than Margarito and Cotto so why the hell would he care about seeing them block punches with their face all night?

I know, all over in a second, its like pac had shot him.

That will have had some kind of effect on Floyd. He wouldnt be human if it didnt, Floyd cant look at what pac did to Hatton knowing HE himself took far longer to achieve the same result (although nowhere near as devestating)

Mayweather likes to say he laid the blueprint to beat hatton, whatever that means. In my mind if anyone laid a blueprint it was Collazo way before..

Anyway pac didnt follow any blue print, he just went into the ring and did his thing irrespective of any flaws floyd may have exposed, then knocked ten tons of sh*t out of richard

I remember how shockingly horrible Hatton looked at the weigh in, that's where I thought that a possbile real tough one could be easier for Pac. Of course didn't see such early ending coming, but during the weigh-in, the fight and the walk-out after the KO he looked super stiff and his back bent like an old man or smthing. Of course later the cocaine stuff came out and reports that he overtrained, but for me it looked like some sort of back problem or extreme drain, he just looked unnatural.

I think the issue for Floyd has more to do with what manny has in ADDITION to that power

Please don't cite a fight night thing as a credible source. That was a thing to hype up the game not to give any sort of insight for the fight. It had both fighters going down like 4 times (although hatton held up his end).

That being said, it is true that Manny was not supposed to have that easy of a time. Hatton's size and scrappy style was supposed to give him trouble.
