Pacman would destroy Cotto in 9 rounds or less.

Exactly. After watching last night's fight, I'm not convinced that Cotto is any better than Hatton at this point. He looks like he's already lost a step. If Pac cut him, imo, he'd coast to an easy victory as long as he avoided getting hit solidly.

It's the other way around, if Pac lands flush it will be over.

You make it sound like Manny doesn't have a good chin when it's Cotto who was hurt/wobbled by nearly half the fighters he fought.

Hatton is a better aggressive fighter than Cotto.

Hatton doesn't have 40% the punching power as Cotto

How do you know that?, who has Cotto proved his punching power against that Hatton can't compete with?

Seriously I rate both Hatton and Cotto in the same place and it's nothing offensive or insulting but in the long run Hatton could prove to be a better fighter.

Are we actually comparing Hatton to Cotto? I cannot believe this board has sunk so low. Cotto would have given Hatton a major beating had they ever had met. Imagine Hatton versus Mosely, Quintana or Margarito? Men who Cotto has been toe to toe with. Hatton would last less than 2 mins combined in all three fights.

Since when? The guy made Kostya & Mallignaggi quit, practically broke Castillo's ribs, KO Maussa and KD Collazo. Hatton has very good punching power....having said that, he didnt land much on Pac.

The Jury is still out there on Pac's punch resistance at these higher weights...looking at the size of his head and stamina, id be willing to bet he takes a good punch.

Cotto would have to sit with his punches to hurt and take Manny outa there just like any other welterweight. Yeah, I got the impression that Cotto is not mobile enough and he is far from fluid to land "flush" on Manny. By the other side, Manny can hit him hard and get outa the way as fast.

you all forget (ignore) that Cotto had as big a cut as you can get in boxing and fought on for 9 rounds with it quite obviously impending his vision and hampering his style!

you cannot judge him straight up on this fight, you need to take in account that cut!

plus the size of Cottey compared to manny....

Clottey was stationary so cotto hit gloves, when clottey moved back or dodged cotto hit air. I feel that Pac's control of distance and reflexes will make cotto hit a lot of air. In and out all night long.
