In Pacquio's fights against Brandon Rios, and Timoley Bradley, I saw him landing punches that to the naked eye appear to be just as hard as the punches he landed against Miguel cotto, ricky hatton, etc. But the shots didn't have the same effect on his opponents as they did 5 years ago. Did anyone else notice this?

Well he landed a straight left in November that put a taller, bigger man asleep in mid-air...so I mean...like literally it looked like the Hatton shot and almost had the same effect. Algieri's a tough cookie though.

Might want to give Rios(who's manufacture to being a walking sandbag) and Bradley(An A class fighter with a proven iron chin) some credit rather than blame it on imaginary PEDs.

If Pac fought Hatton and Cotto (magical versions that immediately fully recovered from their KO defeats as though they were never KOED) numerous times each over the last five years rather than the competition that he really fought against, then he likely would have scored many more KO's, particularly in Hatton's case.

Clottey, Margarito (although that fight could have easily been stopped), Mosley (although Shane was begging Brother Naazim to stop the fight), JMM, Bradley, and Rios all have sturdy chins and shouldn't be disregarded as they all are exceptionally difficult to KO much less defeat.

Moving up weight classes and fighting bigger boxers generally causes that.......

Where is this "dreaded KO power" Pacquiao supposedly had? Because the only knockouts I see are a dehydrated zombie in Oscar, and a catchweight fight with Cotto. The Hatton KO took place at 140 pounds, not 147.

This idea that "Pacquiao has lost his power..." is a myth. Pac has never been a devastating puncher at 147. That is reality. His damage is from accumulation.

Did I say he didn't hit hard? No. Seriously kid, learn how to read and go to class or something. Too much Internet can't be good for you. You seem like a young guy... get outdoors and say hello to the sun once in a while.

Brandon Rios and Timothy Bradley have stone skulls, cement heads.

Provo and Chaves both pounded them to no avail, little Pac wasn't gonna improve on that.

I've always said Rios is a cement head. Seriously, if you want to knock him out, bring a heavy club. And you may want to hit from behind, because if he's able to brace for the hit, the club might not be enough. :smoke

I think people forget too quickly when criticizing Pac's recent "loss" of power but if you take a look at his opponents after Cotto you could make a case that the power is there as always. With Margarito he obviously destroyed him but also stepped off the pedal, Mosley is known for a granite chin but still scored a KD in that fight, with Marquez we already know that story and Bradley and Rios are known for iron chins like mentioned before. Algieri was a mover and still scored a couple of KDs so its safe to say the power is there but obviously a higher weight against solid chins.

Bradley/Rios seem impossible to stop. Algieri and Tim both survived Ruslan's best shots so...

He's lost a little power since he's lost a little speed.

Speed adds to the damage done, especially for fighters like Manny. He's not some heavy handed slow puncher.
