Firstly, let me say that I had it a pretty wide Floyd win (116-112) and was disappointed with Manny's gameplan and lack of aggression.

Floyd was (as usual) amazing defensively and made Pac miss easily at times. Even though he was buzzed at least twice, more so than Manny ever was.

Did anyone else think Manny ate those right hands from Floyd very well? They didn't seem to have much effect on him.

He obviously felt them but he was never stunned in the way Floyd was. I can't remember what round but Manny took a right hand and just shook his head. I genuinely don't think Floyd's power troubled him at all. It was more his speed, footwork and defence that had him confused. Manny's chin still seems ok.

Manny took Floyd's juiced right hands very well. But Floyd also never really sat down and committed on his punches and that was because he was aware of the angles and power.

Manny's gameplan was to be Manny. Manny's shoulder didn't allow him to be Manny.

His chin has always been A class. You don't go through Marquez x3, Morales x2, DLH, Hatton, Cotto, Concreto(without plaster of paris) at Light Middleweight, Bradley x2, Mosley, Clottey, Larios, Hussein and many more having a "bad" chin. Did people forget the punch Larios landed against Pacquiao in round 3?, that shot would've at least dropped others yet Pacquiao took it fine.

The shot he took against Marquez in the fourth fight was a freak shot. He ran into it face first unexpectedly and recklessly. That shot would blow away almost anyone if they position themselves to take it like Pacquiao did.

There was a reason Manny was tentative. He didn't want to eat right hands all night.
