No losers both deserve huge props showed amazing heart. Action was non stop. Also Im keeping my eyes on this Mansour hes definitely hard core. CONGRATULATIONS to both warriors and American heavyweights. When was the last time you seen a match like that:good

US HW boxing isn't dead. Just not world level anymore.

Both went up in my estimation after this fight. Cunningham showed real heart to survive being dropped twice. Mansour was faster than I expected, showed impressive power and did better than I predicted.

Great fight! I wouldn't have given a plugged nickel for Cunningham's chances after the 2 brutal 5th round kd's, but he showed championship heart by coming back and taking a clear decision. Mansour also fought a great fight and showed great sportsmanship after the fight by saying the better man won, and then saying some beautiful things about Cunningham's very ill daughter. Awesome all the way around

It was beautiful to watch, but neither USS or Mansour cut it on world level.
Mansour is a wild swinging brawler with some power and grit and Cunningham is a good blown up Cruiser with amazing recuperation powers and good boxing skills.

The upside from this, is that it's fun to watch and pulls people to the arenas.

Mansour should fight Holyfield. Would be a good scrap of two grandpops.

mansour seems like a cool dude despite what his shady past might reflect

glad cunningham won. I dont think he has much left honestly at world level. He could beat the likes of jason gavern or julius long but anybody like kliltschko, stiverne , etc i dont see it.

maybe he can get another good payday out of this and be able to give some towards his daughter

He never had 'much left' in this division, he was nothing. Cunningham was never beyond fringe contender at world level at HW.

It was a good fight. Cunningham is just way, way too small to compete at heavyweight. Mansour needs a good trainer. He would need to have a style like Tyson to be effective. It is going to work on him psychologically, that he could not beat a guy 20 pounds lighter and Cunningham was there to be hit. All those lunging, wild punches! He gassed also. I think Roach could do a good job with him, but also he is just too old to learn new tricks. As mentioned, an entertaining fight. And Cunningham owes Ref Steve Smoker a big one, because Cunningham would have been stopped if it had been the ref from the first fight.

Mansour could do some things if he works on his cardio, and gets some discipline. He would have beaten Cunningham probably by KO, had he stayed patient, and boxed, instead of swinging for the fences from start to finish.
