    Thats the idea.....

He can play it safe fighting fringe contenders on the WBA rankings, wait for a shot vs the minor title holder. Get a nifty 200K payday and walk away.:good:good

One of the slowest counts I've seen especially the second one.

Glad for Cunningham, but he looked completely shot to me.
Afraid to get hit, to commit to his punches.
    Can't fight on the inside.

He's only going to get brain damage in he stays in the HW division.

Cunningham more than likely saved his career last night by digging deep, and outboxing Mansour while on ***** street. I don't think Cunningham ever really got his legs back, but from the 6th round on it was one way traffic. Cunningham has lots of options... A fight with Glazkov, Thompson, Jennings or Ruiz, Jr. would be ideal

Cunningham showed a lot of skill and flashes of great defence. Very good win for him and his family.

He takes Jennings and Glazkov imo.

IDK about that... I'd have to favor Jennings and Glazkov against him at this point tbh. He'd definitely be game though.

Mansour brought a hard fight to him with a lot of power. Don't see Glazgov getting through it.

it was a good fight. 2 good solid fighters.
heavyweight division has been showing life recently
and it could get fun. if they give us the fights.

uss vs glazkov seems to be perfect.
and seeing deontay wilder fight a big dog is gunna be great!
cant wait for arreola/stiverne just to see whos gonna get wilder

Great fight but USS got a big time gift from the ref. The ref was giving him so much time, he should have been stopped. I feel a bit sorry Amir who put his whole hearth in these fights.

    Great effort by both men.

Basically the Americans were saying Seth Mitchell, Amir Mansour and Deyontay Wilder are the best heavyweights.

I don't recall many on here hyping Mansour.... ZXCVBNM maybe, but he's as hardcore a fan of the heavyweight division as anybody. Mansour in my eyes is more legit than Wilder or Mitchell, I think he would bomb either guy out... And sooner or later, Wilder like Mitchell will be exposed as a fraud with unwarranted hype.

Firstly, an entertaining fight and great effort from both competitors.
Cunningham the right side of a huge gulf in boxing skill for me. Mansour was basic, winging his loaded punches, static when throwing combinations and tailor made style wise for a slippery and classy USS.
I agree with the commentary suggesting Mansour would have viewers tuning in for his fights but he is a level or two off the best in the division IMO.
On the down side for SC, he simply doesn't have the power or chin to make a realistic tilt for a HW title but never-the-less, if he performs again as tonight, he will be a good 'gate-keeper' for those climbing the ranks (that means you Ruiz Jnr and Wilder!) and hopefully can get the glory his determination warrants.
