Manuel Charr has been upgraded to WBA Regular World Champion

It is irritating that this belt is back after less than a week of being rid of, but thankfully it doesn't appear to be the first step of them abandoning their consolidation plans. As I pointed out in my thread, apparently Charr only received the belt because of a court settlement. This seems to have been done with reluctance on the part of the WBA and they don't seem to be any happier about it than we are, and the plan is still to reduce to one WBA titleholder per division. They've also given him a very small window to fight Jarrell Miller, so they may just be hoping he can fail to make a fight by then so they can strip him again. I dunno how smart that would be since that's kinda what started this mess, but we are talking about the same organization that came up with this dumbass title in the first place

 

So they ‘got rid of it’ and that was the whole reason Dubois had to fight Usyk right? Because they were getting rid of it. That was the justification to make that fight. But now after that fight they are making it come back?

Right…….

 

Charr is a loser who lost all the big fights...

 

On the bright side, this will settle once and for all who was "The Worst Heavyweight Champion of all time." Guys like John Ruiz can breathe a sigh of relief to be permanently removed from the conversation.

 

B… But he grazed Vitali a few times! Pressured him while eating a bunch of shots!! Got out boxed but kept coming AND he actually cussed up a storm after getting his wig spilt and bled out forcing the ref to stop it!!!

I wouldn’t mind seeing my boy Lucas Browne smash Charr up a bit. The fight was supposed to happen a while back but fell through last minute. Browne has always seemed like a very nice fella, wouldn’t mind him getting one last pay day to retire on.

 

they probably won’t bother drug testing lol.

 

Why do people keep bringing this guy up, he sucks. Perfect opponent for some of the prospects though like Anderson though.
