The guy in the prime of his fighting life at 28 years old, lost to old, slow Vitali Klitschko who was 41 years old, is now the WBA "Regular" champion lol An embarrassment Hey, who's doing the RBR for the big fight tomorrow?
Yeah. True. Look at his record. He has many fruitful defenses since starting his reign as the "Regular" champ in 2017
Nuri Seferi Nikola Milačić Christopher Lovejoy You mean to tell me, all of those fights were for the WBA "Regular" belt??? LMAO
Lovejoy wasn't a belt fight apparently. Hey. I don't care about any of it as long as it goes ahead. And there's no controversy after. Pulev holding this belt, if that's the case, isn't a bad thing. Best case scenario is he's lined up against someone like Wardley, Pero or even Itauma who can milk it for some good match-ups and/or eventually relegate it to history with a fight against the actual belt-holder. Unless, of course, Oquendo get his shot too. Every time I check ranking and see MC up there at the top it just makes the sport seem that little less genuine.
This is subjective but I guess we will only know in his performance against the winner of this "title" fight tomorrow lol
Fast Fres was a challenge for a lot of top HWs in the 2000s decade. It's a pity he went out on the BS Grozny situation with Chagaev. Would have preferred for him to have got his go at this, actually, but back in 2015. He will probably be glad to see it gone too.
