Fight will never happen. Briggs wants to talk his way into a title shot, not actually earn it. Charr is too risky.

300 pounders from the middle of no where, Mississippi sounds like a more possible match-up.

    WBC #9 and #21, respectively.

It does nothing for Charr but would help legitimize Briggs' quest for a title shot.

You actually kind of have to admire Charr for this call-out, as the risk to reward is absolutely garbage for him. :think

Say what you want about Charr, but he's tough as nails and will fight just about anyone... He does a number on Briggs, stops him with body shots in 5 :deal

    I expect Shannon to duck....

He wants it to be an eliminator
So in all fairness it's more like that Charr is looking for a relatively easy way to a second titleshot. And he tries to sell it as being generous to Wlad for getting Briggs off his back.

As bad as Charr is he's miles better than the kind of opposition Briggs has been facing. Charr would be there to actually fight and win.

While logic would say he wouldn't risk it as he is trying to talk his way into a shot at Wlad, logic would also say that he has no hope of this. If he is offered a decent payday he may take it, I can't see any better offers unless of course he knows a Wlad fight will definitely happen.

Briggs seems close to getting a shot at Wlad by just beating Top 500 HWs, no need to fight a guy like Charr who - as limited as he is - would be a legitimate threat to Briggs.

Briggs won't fight charr and I am sure charr and his people know this so it's an exercise just to keep charr's name out there

Would be a pretty big pay day for Charr though. Briggs brings in the ratings. If I remember right Vitali vs Briggs was one of biggest boxing viewing events in Germany.
