"The offer didn't surprise me, I have recently beaten very good fighters. I'm also ranked very high by all the important boxing federations. The offer came thanks to my good performances",says Charr.

"I'm not looking for any chances that Klitschko gets an injury. In his last fight, Klitschko fought with one hand, and easily beat Chisora. I'm just the better boxer than Vitali, you'll see very soon. I will win the HW championship by beating the toughest available opponents", adds the 27 year old

looks like Manuel Charr actually believes in Manuel Charr

    WAR!!! :bbb:bbb

I hope so! We're due for a shakeup in the HW division. The Klitschkos have been on top for years!

I am sure the fact that HBO was interested in Charr also played a role for Vitali picking him. Charr brought HW boxing back to HBO.

The only thing than could prevent Charrr being HW champ would be the apocalypse , and even then he'd win the event.

I'll believe this fight happens when the first bell sounds. Before that I expect Vitali to pull out with another fake knee or shoulder injury, like always.

Charr is the best opponent since Lewis. Vitali loves challenge so i dont think Vitali will duck him. :hi:

But we must wait for the first staredown, maybe Charr will scare Vitali and he retire. :hey

Vitali hasn't been this scared since the Olympics. Expect a failed drugs test.

Charr is going to unify the welter weight division.

Just look what he did to heavyweight destroyer Haye. Haye was all high and mighty after his win and then the Diamond boy took the event from him.

    It was a legendary moment.

Same thing will happen in the staredown

HBO shows heavyweight boxing, just not Wlad. Vitali/Arreola was entertaining, but Wlad **** the bed against Haye. HBO showed Lennox Lewis for years. He wasn't American, but his fights were entertaining.

LOL If America had Heavyweights like Holyfield, Briggs, Tyson then they'd show Wlad fight them. America has no fighters hence the general disinterest by HBO. You're clueless if you think this is about 'excitement'.

If Lewis was so exciting then why didn't HBO show Lewis - Botha?
