Wow, how much does your butt hurt? From reading your post I'd say A LOT!!!

Pretty sure people still talk about Ben Johnson being a drugs cheat, and that was what, 16 years ago?

You may condone a man pumping himself full of steroids to help him inflict serious harm in another, but don't expect me do the same. You won't ever see me with. Vitali, Roy Jones, Lamont Peterson, James Toney, Evander Holyfield or Larry Olubamiwo avatar.

I have a background in media, and work in sales. Wlad is un-watchable television. There's no way to justify spending out of the boxing budget when a re-run of Boardwalk Empire will bring in more viewers.

Holyfield and Tyson put on far more entertaining bouts than Wlad. Holyfield had wars, Tyson KTFO guys in a couple of rounds, Wlad grabs and holds.

Yes, HBO would prefer American heavyweights, that is obvious. Hell, they would like to air heavyweight boxing in general. But, with a lack of content that would excite casual viewers, they air the lower weight classes.

Charr has it all, the tenacity of Tyson, the power of Foreman, the charisma of Ali, and the jab of Holmes.

It's Charr mania, the savior of the heavyweight the division the man with the million dollar smile that got the HW championship back on HBO!

I agree with you. HBO gave Wlad plenty of chances and they lost a lot of money. And then they gave him one more chance when he fought Haye and he shows up and fights scared. Wlad is a coward and he can't take a punch.

If HBO had a an American or even just a US based heavyweight belt holder rest assured HBO would be all over it. Shannon Briggs was in talks with HBO before his Vitali bout for a 3 fight contract should he win the WBC belt. That's how desperate HBO is for a US belt holder.

But they won't get excited if some Ukrainian is boxing some French midget somewhere in Germany. Nobody in the US cares about that. Just like they didn't care when Lennox Lewis boxed Frans Botha in London.

The point is: This isn't about Wlad or Vitali. This is about their opposition. Lewis was lucky to have Grant, Holyfield, Briggs and Tyson who gave him exposure on HBO. The closest they have today is Chris Arreola and he's closer to Grant than to any other boxers in the list.

I will respectfully disagree. This is about Wlad. He is unwatchable.

Tyson largely fought weak opposition, but brought in great ratings because people wanted to see him KTFO a guy. His fight with Sheldon was on PPV and sold.

Wlad is not worth an hour of programming on a Saturday afternoon. He had his last chance when he let Haye run and hide for a whole fight. Vitali, however, is typically entertaining. That is why his fights get aired far more often.

(My only guess regarding Lewis/Botha is the time difference. Outside of Wlad/Haye I don't recall seeing other fights on at noon west coast time.)

    Has everyone gone insane?

This is just crazy. Everything's crazy.

I'm gonna go to Applebee's for the new Manuel Charr-broiled Burger. It's a hit in America. Just like Manuel Charr. Who has brought heavyweight boxing back to HBO.

The Manuel Charr-broiled Burger. It's beefy. Like Manuel Charr. I'm done.

Funny coming from someone that has to run onto every Klitschko thread and troll, digging something that happened 16 years ago. You're the epitome of butthurt.

Vitali has been tested countless times over his pro career and never failed, so **** off with your self-righteousness, you're no better than anyone else here.

I couldn't give a **** who you support or not, but why don't you spend some time here actually SUPPORTING someone?

My greatest day so far was when Charr added me to his myspace many moons ago.

Charr is a creep. pops up at the Haye presser, saying weird arrogant things and has that look about him.

Vitali wins by DQ after Charr bites his ear off.
