Don't think for a second that wasn't entirely by design.

Such a brilliant game plan. Worst case, flit around Charr scoring points and pitch an easy upset shutout. Best case, you get Charr overconfident enough to dive headfirst into your best shot and score the highlight punch of your career.

 

I'll still take Sasha Z over most of the jokers out West though, even with the occasional stumble.

He's a better ring announcer IMO than all but Real Buffer, Joe Martinez, and Classy Jimmy.

Diamante, Contreras, Treiber and the rest can all turn in their mics and go find another phallic object to put near their mouths, far as I'm concerned.

Really, yeah, he brings everything Adamek brought up to HW, plus better movement, plus a real corker of a right uppercut (at the very least - I seem to remember his above-average cruiser power being distributed evenly in both hands...scary thought if he can do in big heavies with either and have that much of a speed and mobility advantage over most...)

Of course, we don't know much about his chin at HW (or period) but he did roll with a few desperate lunging Charr right crosses that did graze his chin enough to notice that he barely even blinked at them despite Charr putting a lot of spite into them. :think
