Quezada staggered him with a mexican left hook, followd it with a nice right hand down the pipe.

Quezada isnt going to ever be champion, but it was nice KO, the guy knows how to attack.

Wow, I didn't expect this result at all. Before the fight, Walker was saying that he would quit boxing if he didn't beat Quezada. He said that he had no business in this sport if he couldn't get past a guy like Quezada. But who knows? My guess is that we will see more of Walker, although not in anymore truly meaningful fights.

Mexicans throw left hooks, it is our money punch. Every great mexican fighter excels at throwing a liver splitting left hook. Mexican left hooks are the best left hooks in the all the sport. Every mexican that has ever boxed at any given time, either as an amateur, a pro, for fitness, just to learn how to fight, we all know how to throw a perfect left hook.

Did you call these other ones too?

While it could be that Quezada’s left hand is deceptively powerful, more likely Walker seems to have contracted that unexplainable fragility familiar to heavyweights who have suffered hard knockouts in their previous fight, such as Michael Grant, Oleg Maskaev, and Vladimir Klitschko. However, while Walker is an imposing offensive fighter he may or may not be the same caliber as those three so it remains to be seen if he can salvage his career despite his suddenly glass chin.
With the win, Quezada improves to 28-4, 18 KOs, and likely gains entry into the WBC top ten, while Walker falls to a frustrating 31-3-1, 25 KOs.
