Many have an unhealthy obsession with Calzaghe

    Daily, threads regarding the legitimacy of the retired Joe Calzaghe's career are posted right here on ESB. The bitching and snide comments in these threads resemble the chatter of Cinderella's ugly sisters. They balk at the idea of Calzaghe one day gaining entry into the precious Hall of Fame, as clearly this would spell disaster and the end of mankind as we know it.

    Oftentimes, these same people revere known-steroid abusers (i.e. cheats) such as Roy 'Glass Jaw' Jones Jr, and Shane Mosley, as well as jailbirds like Bernard Hopkins and Mike Tyson. Real role-models.

    That is all.

    well it's because people get sick of his Fanboys on ESB ...

    not saying all Calzaghe fans, but many grossly claim Calzaghe to be one of the greatest of all time..

    how could you not see this coming?

    Only thing I don't understand is why his topics ain't moved to either the "Classic" or "British", "General" section's of the forum... considering dude is retired.

    What's wrong with Hopkins as a role-model? Dude came from the gutter and worked his arse off and turned his life around to forge an ATG boxing career.
