    I think ward is arguably ATG material, however if he goes to canada and defeats the super. All debate ends among the sane and reasonable.

    Without a doubt he's a HOF. He's an ATG as well as he's one of the best fighters of this era.

    Andre Ward is a HOF and top 10 fighter of his era, at least. That, to me, is an ATG.

    This is more fact than opinion.

    Even if you score the first Kovalev fight for Krusher, as I did. He cemented his legacy with the Super Six run.

    That's fair and well-said, I agree.

    I think the definition of ATG is the tricky bit though, if "ATG" means top 50 all-time, that'd be an entirely different ballgame.

    Yes, I agree Kiwi, ATG definition is tricky for sure. Is it top 50 all time, top 100? Or can we just compare guys in each era, which is what I think is best in all sports (like comparing NFL QB's Brady vs Montana vs Unitas vs Baugh). If it's guys in each era, say over a 20 year period, top 10 should be easily HOF and ATG.

    To be a HOF or a real ATG

    A Ward must not practice fouling with glee.

    Instead he must honor the rules of the game

    Otherwise it will force a rejection of claims.

    For true greatness surpasses a mere victory

    When winning is marred via an elbow or knee

    Or a batter ram skull into throat or a face

    Then a victory equals a cause for disgrace.

    I don't care if he's HOF, ATG, future president (you never know these days). Whatever. The fact is he's a skilled boxer but he's very dirty and so few people enjoy watching him.
