Ward will beat Green and Dirrell

Kessler will beat Froch and Green

Abraham / Froch could go either way. Probably Abraham.

    Ward 6 or 7 points

    Kessler 4 or 5

    Abraham 3 or 5

    Froch 2 or 4

    Dirrell 2

    Green 0

Froch won the h2h matchup against Dirrell so he would move on.

Ward vs Europe in the final stages.

Quarter-final Ward beats Froch, Kessler beats Abraham

    Final, Ward beats Kessler.

Why would he be taken out?? Is that even a possibility?

    I don't see this happening.

Either Froch or Ward will win this Tourney. Froch beats Kessler next and Ward will beat Green.

Yes but slightly. Speaking on what has happened in the Super Six so far I like to expect the unexpected.

I though you were actually mapping it out.

You are injecting a whole lot of opinion in there. But helpful nonetheless.:good

    Froch is riduclously overrated.

He's tailor made for Kessler, providing Kessler isn't washed up, and he mentally may be.
Abe should KO him, Froch is too slow and his chin is too open.
Ward will certainly eat him up, too everything!

He was outclassed by Dirrell on a bad Dirrell night, his defense is poor, his speed and power are only average.
All he has going for him is raw determination and a hint of insanity, which gets you lucky sometimes, but can't be relied upon against the elite. He was soundly outboxed by Dirrell, and in a rematch, it would be a blowout KO. Dirrell was caught mentally immature.

Abe and Ward are all more mature than Dirrell was, and will soundly outclass him. Kessler may be over the hill.

You clearly have a low opinion of Froch and a higher one for AA but Froch was more competitive than AA was against Dirrell.

Pickem fight IMO. I was never sold on Kessler to begin with and never sold on Green either.

    Ward beats Green pts

Ward/Dirrell is a toss-up, I like Ward pts, but this has sparring session written all over it

    Kessler is a big ?
Froch is tailor made for him, but Kessler's mental state might be ruined. Froch is raw determination incarnate, and against a weak fighter, he can pull it out.
Green might outquick him, again, depending on Kessler's state.

    Abraham KOs Froch

    Abraham 5 or 6

    Ward 4 or 6

    Kessler ?, 0 to 5

    Dirrell 2 or 4

    Froch 2, maybe 4

    Green 0 to 2

Potentially a VERY tight race. Abe and Ward are basically locks, the other four should be tight. Dirrell is the most talented of those four and the only one capable of winning in the late stages.

Froch will be badly beaten in time, his chin will crack like Andrade's, and Green is too inconsistent.

Abe, Ward, and Dirrell are AMAZING head to head fights, that would be the dream.

Froch, Green, and perhaps Kessler are the lower classes.

Yeah Philla, this definitely threw a monkeywrench into the predictions. Kessler is the wildcard at the moment. Personally, I think Kessler does win his next 2. But, I have no real conviction. Froch could win that fight and it would come as no surprise.

I think Dirrell, if he suffers no ill effects from last nite, will give Ward all he can handle and might even win the thing. Out of all the fighters out there, he has the best tools to give Ward serious trouble. We'll see.

Green, actually suffers from last nites result. If Dirrell had lost, Green could have had a real shot of advancing simply by beating Kessler(no small order, but IF MK was coming off consecutive defeats.....who knows?). As it is, I don't know the tie breaker system.

Wonder how the pyschology of the standings might play in the third round.

Eg. Ward may be already in the semis, whereas Dirrell will need to get a result from that fight. Wonder if that might influence the fighters mindsets.

In the Kessler v Ward fight, Kessler and Green (if they both lost their next fights) might be need KOs.

Can't see anything making much difference to Abraham/Froch though.
