Read a great quote in runners world that said "If i am running 50miles a week I can eat whatever the hell i want".

Thats awsome, but obviously if you are serious about genuinly competing, my first suggestion is to go over to Runnersworld.com and post this as they are running specialists.

General things without getting specific as i have just come back from my run and need to do stff are,

    1) 3 meals a day is good, 3 meals a day with 2 snacks at intervals to keep the metabolism is better, so breakfast 2 hours later snack, 2 hours later lunch, snack, dinner.

    2) serious running (like proper marathon) is about being as light as possible with as much endurance, how are you preparing you meals?, what type of oil, grill. A george forman is a great thing (will i get slaughtered for saying that lol).

I mean if you been running 4 years you proberly have a better idea then most anywho.

But most importantly enjoy your training and congradulations on almost achieving actally taking part in the marathon.
