He seems to be (refreshingly) handling the new fame really well.

We need more people like this in boxing. Fighters that are role models for the rest of the population. I read in another article that after he found out about Valero's death, he opened a house for victims of domestic violence. Good fighter and a role model.

Sulaiman has a basement there he likes to lock up all the champs in, if they OK it. Few do. His basement is used for satanic worshiping sacrifices and perverted sex orgies with goats and sheep and whatnot. Oh, that Sulaiman is a character.

Its based in Mexico. All WBO beltholders go to Puerto Rico for their belts and WBA beltholders go to Panama.

I'm glad martinez has you defending him on message boards in case anyone "disrespects" him

Do you do this for all boxers, or only the ones who's posters hang in your bedroom :nut

while i disagree with his AZ stance, due to me simply not knowing the issue in and out enough, to me it seems a state has the right to do what it feels it needs to do in order to save itself, to see his work with the kids in this manner is touching and hes fast become one of my favorite fighters, what a class individual.

Theres always a nice little honeymoon period for new champions after a great performance until people start hating for asinine reasons.

Someone should make a good profile of this guy in the media. He looks sincere in doing those things.

This is what boxing needs. Not just a great fighter, but a great representative of the sports to the outside world.
