Martinez beats Pavlik and Cintron, He fights the best and the toughest prime opponents possible. he also lost a close one to Williams, and Knocked him out the second time. Who was the last boxer to ever beat Williams? Martinez faces the toughest opponents possible period

All is true, and I give him kudos for taking on challenges. Maravilla lives up to his nickname, I actually thought Dzin would give him one hell of a fight and he completely smashed him technically.

Having him beat fantasy fights over the likes of Hagler is a little bit premature for my liking.

you're sarcasm radar needs some fixing lol

Staph-infected drunken and just beaten Pavlik and Cintron were neither prime nor tough. Dzin wasn't anywhere near the top 20 p4p rankings. he's a world class boxer in the sense of yuri foreman or sidorenko are world class boxers and that's all that is to him

For such a quick guy, Marivilla eats a lot of punches. I would worry about him fighting an accurate puncher like Hagler. Also, Martinez needs to start fighting legit 160 pound fighters. Not that he would lose, but it would enhanse his chamipionship reign.

Dzin was ass, nothing special about him at all. Sergio lost to Margo, probably would again. he was getting tagged up by euro level competition, got beat by Williams.

Are you ****ing kidding with this ****? My ****ing head is about to explode.

When Martinez avenges his loss to Margarito, we can talk about his chances against Hagler.

Until then, this topic is not worth discussing.

Hagler took bombs from Hearns pretty well. How the hell Martinez could hurt him ?
His hail mary punch from the Williams fight would never come against Hagler who was just one of the most effective boxing machine we ever seen.
