    he said Eledier was on the decline and told him after he lost to Kovalev that if he has another bad night like that he'd suggest retirement.

    Hes 36, hes been a champion he knocked out kovalev

    Hes done at the top level

    Hopefully he saved some of his money as retirement seems best

    He made so much step-aside money from Adonis Stevenson I’m pretty sure he’s well off..

    He blocked a lot but he also took a lot of heavy head shots from Smith, particularly in round 5 where Smith really put it on him and many of his shots were landing clean. Alvarez showed a rock head in that round.

    I'm Canadian the step aside money isn't what you think it was. he was told he'd make 100k fighting Stevenson or 200k fight X.
    the misconception is he literally sat home and got paid. not the case this guy probbaly didn't make nearly enough to retire, he'll need a job.

    Well athletes **** away their money so high earnings doesn't always equal long term savings
