I'm going with Cerdan on points here. I think he's got a bit more in his arsenal than Taylor but Taylor size makes it close. Thoughts?
MW vs L-HW... the bigger man usually wins. it's amazing, no matter how many time these type of match ups are Corrected, because of Era/Time period realities, people still try to make a MW (or whatever weight), match. You CAN'T - Taylor in the past, Cerdan's Era, would be fighting as a L-HW cum HW, don't you 'automatically' understand that? you have to first look at the Era's of said fighters and then look at 'their' SIZE and Stature... in the reverse, Today, Cerdan would be a LW - WW fighter. many of these match ups can't be made accurately, simple.
By all accounts I have read, Cerdan is a far superior boxer to the physically talented, but, ordinary Taylor. Cerdan UD or late TKO.
