15 rounds at middleweight. The hustling, agressive Frenchman against the technical 'bodysnatcher'....Who do you like?

I think Cerdan might wear McCallum down for what is likely a decision win. Just watching Cerdan the other night, he's quite a brute.

JT1, The performance against Zale really impressed me. They said that Zale wasn't what he once was in that fight...but he had looked good knocking out Graziano in the previous fight. I really like Cerdan stylistically.

Zale had definitely seen better days but Cerdan did impress still. If only Cerdan had vetured over earlier or not met an untimely death. IMO he would have beat LaMotta in the rematch.

That's a good question, whether he would have regained the title or not. Cerdan stated that he would 'or die trying'...I've read that he was absolutely broken hearted when the rematch was postphoned the first time, after he had worked so hard in training...It would have been a great fight (I wish there was more footage of their first fight). A Cerdan and Robinson fight was talked about briefly...but financial terms could not be reached between the camps I believe. That would have been a fantastic fight.
