    I like Steele here ,he was quick decent boxer with as very fast heavy punch Thil liked to grab his nuts and claim foul,bald as a badger with hair all over his body he was a middleweight Phil Scott,allways looking for a dsq.

    Glad to see these two motly forgotten middleweights mentioned.

    I think Steele is one of the most underated boxers of all time. It's a shame he broke his breastbone in the Apostoli fight, he could never really properly keep his hands up or train hard after the injury.

    He had developed into a very good puncher in addition to being an excellent boxer. I'd definitely go with Steele, he'd pretty much cleared out the division by 1937 when he was only 25.
