"Why don't you step in the ring with Miguel Cotto" Floyd: I would love to fight Miguel Cotto. But not right now. he must go out and build his self. He must go out and get his own fan base. Because he lives in Puerto Rico, and hes gonna have a huge fanbase, but when you look at it he don't do big numbers on Pay Per View. I mean you know me, last year by myself, three and a half million. What can he do? And you must realise, he's with Bob Arum. Me and Bob Arum don't see eye to eye. Everybody knows that. Just like De La Hoya and Bob Arum doesn't see eye to eye. He's a grumpy old man. No disrespect, but he's a grumpy old man. And me and Bob Arum can't do business. We can't do business, we don't see eye to eye. So, once he become a CEO and get his own fanbase, and get on the level of a Floyd Mayweather, and then you have a great matchup. Until then, I'm gonna continue to dominate and do me. "Well hopefully the numbers will match up sometime in the future cause I think Cotto and Mayweather would be an awesome fight to catch." Well absolutely. But a kid like that. I mean you look at Miguel Cotto. Zab Judah came off, fighting me, was off for 400 and some days and come back and take Miguel Cotto, what, 10 or 11 rounds and bust his face? I mean, Miguel Cotto, I mean he know the business. He know what it really is. I mean you see, he go on TV, he call any other opponent out or say talk to my boss. I mean I'm his boss, cause I'm Mr. HBO himself. So, if you want to talk to somebody, talk to me. Let me know whats going on. [yt]wddwbK3oE4I[/yt]
If Mayweather is going to fight Cotto he should do it now! That's if he wants to keep his '0'! Cause in a year or two, Mayweather will start declining!
I saw this on Friday night fights back in march. I don't se anything wrong with what he said most of it was true. Arum and PBF don't get along, it will be a hard fight to negoiate. I think the fight will happen because Cotto will outgrow Arum like Oscar and PBF did and start calling his own shots.
And who exactly was Zab's best vicotry against? Cory Spinks. Some people say that the fight was signed before Zab was supposed to fight Baldomir, but I'm not sure how true this is. Miguel Cotto KO'd Zab Judah and beat Shane Mosley in 2007. Floyd's victory over Oscar was a good win, but why was there a need to fight Ricky Hatton in December for?
There was a need to fight Hatton because it was unfinished business between them. The PBF-Hatton fight should have happened back in 2005 when both were at 140 but Hatton declined twice. Not to mention he called PBF out after his win over JLC on HBO.
The fight shouldn't have happned at 140 because Hatton had his chance at the fight there and he declined. Hatton called PBF out just like when PBF called Oscar out he went up to 154 and fought Oscar on his terms to challenge him(funny how you always forget to mention that) and Hatton did the same. Another point Hatton won a belt at 147 against Collazo he had success there. Hatton opened his mouth and got it shut. Lastly why in the **** would PBF vacate his title? PBF was already at the top he's P4P #1 and Hatton needed PBF not the other way around, Hatton wanted what PBf had.:deal
I remember fruitcake floyd ran his mouth with winky he shut the hell up real quick, ha ha ha, classic.
