Away and learn about the sport will ya? Always chirping on about this ****. Its not called the FIGHT of the century for nothing. Its not the ONE-SIDED beating of the century as you never tire of trying to impress. To make a good FIGHT, it takes TWO people to fight, dont you understand that??? I dont want to go down the road of who was the better man and all that ****, as quite frankly, you would be eaten alive trying to compare the two's achievements, resume etc....Just give BOTH credit because if you keep running people down then your actually denigrating from Joes deserved victory. Cant you see that?

:good Very...very good point johnmaff. Could n't agree more. Denigrating one also denigrates the other. Both Ali and Frazier deserved gold medals after that night.

Maybe the Greatest Sporting Event (on the overall) ever.

$2,500,000 Fight Purse (for each fighter).

Was ringside at the new Garden that night. The air was electric. Remember it like it was yesterday.

You did, indeed. That 11-4 score against Ali was a joke.

Bill Gallo, New York Daily News

Printed a brilliant analysis of this fight.
He had all the ringside reporters scorecards.

Only 'one' had Muhammad Ali winning.

He must be blind if he gave it to Ali. Joe won the fight hands down although Ali won the other 2 fights hands down, a convincing points win and a stoppage

    The lone defector,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Art Rust Jr.
Scored the fight for Ali 8-6-1.

Art was a 'Joe Frazier Hater', and a 'Muhammad Ali Lover'
