Baer would lose, but it would be exciting.

I don't see Tua as having the style to beat a good boxer. I don't think he ever catches a cautious Walcott and loses a decision as he did with Byrd.

Tua was going through some serious issues outside the ring at the time of the Byrd and Lewis fights, I dont think that Tua is the one most are imagining in these fights. Tua had a high workrate and was a very disciplined fighter at his best and carried devastating power late into his fights.

Well, okay, but I just don't see him as one of the sixteen best heavyweights ever and a likely back to back winner over Tunney and Walcott, each of whom has the perfect style to fight him.

Old Fogster...even if he does make it, it doesnt necassarily mean hes top 16. it just means he competed better in this one tournament and got a good draw. MARCH MADNESS lol.

Do you really think Buster Douglas beats Harry Wills 2 out of 3 times? I dont think so.

elmer ray didnt even make it out of the first round, yet hes in my top 25 heavyweights of all time. same with floyd patterson whos in my top 20

I could see Tua going perhaps a long way if he got the right matchups, let's say Layne or Norton and perhaps Foreman to take advantage of his strengths. He is actually drawing tough stylistic matchups.

I bet Lyle Tua would be great fun.

Agree that he doesn't beat Walcott. Puncher's chance.
