Marciano circa 1951 and Frazier circa 1971 vs the best of Schmeling? Who you got and how competitive

I think Frazier May have been too big for Max. I know the weights aren’t a huge difference but visualizing the match I think Frazier would of been tough for Max to keep off.
Marciano vs peak Schmeling is a really good fight. Schmeling has one of the most underrated right hands in heavyweight history, it was deadly accurate, had expert timing and was powerful. Quick too as he shot very much like Wlad did.
Marciano’s come forward style would mean Max would hit him at will with it.
Everyone willl likely just pick Frazier and Marciano. I would lean that way too but with the hedge that Schmeling would be dangerous for Marciano.

Both beat him and both visit the canvas .
Max does better with Rocky than Joe who was quicker into range, faster with his hands, more defensively adept, and heavier. But both get to Max eventually, Rocky by 10rds/12rds grind down, Frazier by 6th/8th rds tko.

Marciano by early round KO, Frazier by mid round KO/TKO

Both pretty one sided, I imagine they'd bull Schmeling with infighting and superior punching power. Marciano's explosiveness and superior power would get him out of there quicker, but Frazier would beat Schmeling pretty badly too. I imagine Schmeling would have his rounds against both, but would ultimately be outclassed

Both fights could go either way really, since Schmeling In top form was no joke.

Marciano was dropped by Walcott and Moore .Frazier by Mike Bruce and Bonavena x2,I doubt any of those hit harder than Max.

    Schmeling was 6'1", 190-195 lbs, with a 76" reach.

Frazier would weigh more; The Rock weighing slightly less.

Frazier wins mid-rounds; Marciano wins late.....in 15 rd fights.

I got Schmeling beating the rock by a wide decision and Fraizer beating Schmeling by KO at some point after round 6

The Suzie Q and left hook both send Schmeling to the canvas in the mid rounds, and he's not getting up anytime soon.

The "Marciano doesnt kill him within 10" bit

Im exaggerating of course, but I think its night and day the level difference you can see between Marciano and Schmeling on film. Not to mention Louis held Marciano in a higher regard

Honestly i dunno if id favor Schmeling over Walcott or Charles, and Marciano's style does not bode well for Schmeling, who was knocked out in 1 round by Gypsy Daniels and 2 rounds by Larry Gains, especially when Marciano hit harder than Baer and Louis (per quote of Louis, Walcott, sparring partners, and Dempsey's speculation)

I didn't think of it from that (marciano) point of view, I just let my gut make a prediction and then my head justify it, I think that due to how smart and crafty Max could be then I figured he find a way to beat the Rock, but then again if Walcott and Charles couldn't then perhaps I'm overrating Schmeling
