So who has better uppercut form?
    Connor McGreggor or Rocky Marciano?

Here he is throwing his uppercut more similar to the YouTube trainer, than to Rocky Marciano.

It intruiges me that when you post carefully selected footage designed to "big up" your favourites and, instead of getting the positive responses you obviously expect to your comments ,it never seems to occur to you that perhaps it is you and not everyone else who is misreading, and wrongly evaluating what they are watching.:error:

I'll mark one down for "too embarrassed to answer."
    Anyone else?

Yes, you didn't answer, whether from embarrassment or lack of vocabulary only you know.

This is the fight in which Marciano was described as:

Life magazine reported: "Trying to knock the challenger out with one punch, the 29-year-old Marciano was over-eager and awkward. He lunged, butted, hit below the belt, on the break and after the bell. Once, he swung so wildly that he missed and slipped clumsily to the canvas. Outboxing the champion and avoiding his blows, LaStarza managed to win four of the first six rounds. In the seventh, Marciano changed his tactics, started aiming at LaStarza's body as well as his head in an attempt to wear the challenger down. "

Dude, Dempsey got knocked out in one round...
It's okay. These guys don't have to be perfect all the time.

Anyway, that description doesn't do the fight justice.
If that were the single description used to summarize the fight, which you seem to be using it as, it would be an absolute doodoo review.

A modern, Kellerman-esque review would go more like "Rocky absolutely dominated yet another foe with his ferocious punching power, and aggressive come forward style. The way he's able to stay balanced and composed while throwing those bombs is nothing short of amazing. And we can't wait to see more of Rocky Marciano.

Jim: And not only does he throw them Max, he can take them, and it doesn't seem to phase him much. Which makes him even more of an indestructible force.

RJJ: Right you are Jim, he looked like a modern day Gennady Golovkin."

And the relevance of your comment is?

BTW Dempsey was 21 years old and not getting training or even meals on a regular basis,he also did not have the benefit and protection of his manager being the match maker at 2 of the major boxing venues in the country!
Flynn had over 60 wins in more than 100 fights when he beat 21 years old Dempsey and as a contender he had mixed it with best of the division for over a decade .

Fighting for the title and beating such as Sam Langford and Carl Morris.

At the same stage of his career [32&33rd fights]28 years old Marciano was facing

Keene Simmons 8-8-1 "Marciano was in trouble early before winning—and not before drawing some boos from the Providence crowd for hurling a few low blows."

    Harold Mitchell 4-14-3!

Sonny, you mug yourself every time you open your mouth !

You only provide backstories when it's a fighter you like.

But he didnt dominate him he lost the first 4 rounds by being comprehensively out boxed!
What we see in that clip is a fighter who has shot his wad after a continued assault a static target who is defenceless yet Marciano is still missing him by several inches! That is horrible technique!
Marciano himself said ," I changed my style of fighting in the seventh round," Marciano said after the fight. "I was behind ... So instead of throwing my right so much I concentrated on hooks and combination punches."
You are in complete denial all the time, posters take the exact opposite view of things to yourself ,but" thats okay they don't know what they are watching." Now you are are making up hypothetical post fight interviews because you dislike the ones made by eyewitness observers! Have you any conception of how lunatic this stance is?

I don't expect you will ever gain a more educated perspective simply because you are incapable of being wrong ,admitting you might be in error, or even capable of entertaining the thought that anyone who diverges from your standard line could be right!

I'm only prompted to provide information when callow fan boys like yourself make preposterous fairy tales up and expect others to swallow them, its insulting our intelligence.
