    Comprehensively outboxed?
Is that part of the mcvey collection next to such gems like "Primo Carnera: We can't Say" and "Braddock-Louis: A Chestful Of Fury?"

I've noticed a couple of posters on here who display a staggering disconnect between what they're watching and what's actually taking place. It's unbelievable the amount of self-delusion necessary to draw such off base conclusions, way above and beyond anything that nostalgia can account for.

It really makes any attempt to debate with them completely impossible, like arguing with someone who insists that the sky is green and that elephants are smaller than buffalo.

Werent you the one who called Dempseys punching technique against Willard poor, or something to that effect?

Yep. I said he threw telegraphed haymakers from a squared up stance, and then proceeded to illustrate what I meant with a short video clip.

Your original description that he was winding his punches all he way back when Willard was on the ropes, which never happened as he punched forward from the position of his fists.

And Dempsey punches wrong like Tyson moves his head wrong, like how MJ dribbles a ball wrong, and how Babe Ruth hits a baseball wrong.

Still the best post in this thread. I get pumped every time I read it. I'm about to go outside and try to push a truck up a hill or something.

You literally lied about what was on your clip. We can see you my G.

You can clearly see him winding back his arms when punching Willard against the ropes.

Well not you specifically, of course. Someone with functioning eyes.

Dempsey made his style work in the era he was fighting in. Good for him. Doesn't mean his mechanics weren't garbage.

Why bring up something in this thread if you're just going to refer me back to another thread?

You're a waste of my time.
