Ha Ha trying to twist again - I actually felt bad for you and did not want to rub it in because Gazelle punch and choklab and others did such a good job slapping you down with facts

Fact is not a word you should use ever again!
How to destroy your credibility in one thread!

Are you familiar with the expression ,"once it's gone it's gone?"

Fella, look on the bright side,it surely can't get any worse for you!lol

At this point I'm getting embarrassed on his behalf.

 In his 11 or so years being here, I don't think Choklab has picked up one victory on here.

Dude this is seriously getting embarrassing. Just admit you lied and apologize. You've already made a fool of yourself.

I’m quite happy to lose an argument to win the truth. Clearly the truth here is Williams was out cold for a worrying length of time when he fought a guy who was knocked flat by victims of Marciano.

Out cold is still out cold. Nobody won a fight because they were any less out cold. It’s still “out”.

Many fighters fought two weeks apart. Full time boxers used to train for the season not fight by fight. At that stage of a career a fighter has to be ready to take fights. That’s why it’s called professional boxing. Training is supposed to be full time.

    Even Amateur Boxing. The tournaments?

Mike Tyson took ten rounders two weeks apart. Harry Greb, just about all fighters have had that schedule.

It is well documented that Williams was ready to take that fight! He had a lot of advantages.. it was a golden opportunity that he needed for his career to progress.

Once again you fail to see the point. Nobody really cares how long Williams was out against Satterfield. The thing that gets under our skin is the intentionally lying even when given proof to the contrary and refusing to admit their intentions, instead coming up with a variety of excuses. I've lost all respect for Bummy now. Yes I have even less respect I have for him than you (weird I didn't think it could go any lower than you) not for lying (the norm with Marciano fans, as is the case with you) but refusing to admit he lied, and coming up with every excuse in the book instead of manning up and admitting his wrongdoings.

I’m sorry you feel that way. Seems to me when the case you make won’t stand scrutiny, like Williams being a better fighter than any of the challengers Marciano had, rather than learn from this you will look for pedantic points to make from the losing argument in an effort to claim dishonesty from the winning side. As I have said before, and I have heard no counter to this, if somebody merely defends Marciano, there is an outcry from you that the person defending Rocky is either mad or dishonest. It’s not how discussions are supposed to work. You are supposed to discuss the points without these accusations.

You say you have “lost all respect for Bummy now” well, it seems to me you always wanted to lose respect for someone with a different view.

Once again, that's simply untrue. He hadn't been back to the gym since beating Sylvester Jones and was given only two days to prepare for Satterfield. His own manager admitted that he wished there had been time for him to get more sparring in so that he would have been sharper.

    This is a reasonable assumption.
I think him being ko'd by a top ten ranked huge puncher, with a history of koin'g bigger men is also not completely astonishing.
