But they are. I don't recall Rocky being the Cruiser or Light-Heavy champ.

well if they fought head to head it would look ridiculous. Like Hearns fighting Humberto Gonzales

    1-Larry Holmes
    2-Muhammad Ali
    3-Lennox Lewis
    4-Wladmir Klitschko
    5-Joe Louis
    6-Evander Holyfield
    7-Mike Tyson
    8-George Foreman
    9-Rocky Marcianio

Jack Johnson and Dempsey are hovering there but its hard to rate them with a lack of footage.

I'll ask you a question, which modern-sized HW with the desired qualities beat Marciano?

You are reinforcing the point I made to VVMM.
"You cant prove a point by using a hypothetical circumstance and that's what you tried to do.
EG. I never lost a fight to a professional heavyweight boxer..I never fought one .
Marciano never fought a class tall heavyweight ,it doesn't mean he would beat one if he did ,neither does it mean he would lose.It simply means he was an unknown quantity against one."
Thank you for your assistance but it really wasn't required.
Now I'm going to bed I was up in Suffolk today doing a bit with the dogs and my legs have stiffened up from all that walking. I've had a couple of Moretti's, now for a quinine sulphate tablet so I don't get cramp in the night.Good night to you.

Reevaluating his career he's top 10 and beyond .There a reason why he's never lost and that's because he was unbeatable .Guys of recent like Lewis and Klitchko would get grinded down easily. And the Joshua guy? He's a big slow glass jaw hype job. 185 pound Rock cuts him down even easier like a chainsaw.

Top 10? He defeated Archie Moore right? I rest my case.

Is raises the question... Is there better than a Number 1 fighter? Better than GOAT?
