Who admitted Marciano would always have beaten him!! **** Ali even said Marciano was better than Frasier but what do professional boxers know compared to the greatness of a racist like you? They're only known champions who have decades of experience and you have a keyboard!

No offense but Rocky would have been a "bum" in any other era pasted his own. Cruiserweights like Uss Cunningham, Mormeck, Oneil Bell would give him major problems. No need to mention Holyfield, David Haye or Dwight Muhammed Qawi who I think beats him.

Louis playing nice in his Old Age. You have to remember the times. Last thing Louis wants to do is **** people off and have people accuse him of being a sore loser and downing "Rocky Marciano."

It was different when Louis said something about Ali. It was OK. Ali was not "White." Race had something to do with that...along with Joe being humble to not take anything away from Rocky. Fact is; Joe Was Old/SHOT. Even Rocky admitted Joe couldn't take a punch anymore. Younger Louis was an amazing fighter. Full of life and ability. Old Louis...worn down and trying to pay back Uncle "Pimp" Sam.

Ali also mentioned that Rocky fought an "Old Louis; Old Walcott; Old Moore, Old Charles."

People seem to cut off the video before Ali shows his other personality and what else he thought.

I think Rocky was hard to dislike. He didn't come off as a ***** to other fighters and showed respect. So why go all out and disrespect him back.

Why do 'assume' Louis was scared to speak anything other than the truth!? What a farce that's you believing what you want to believe.

And Ali was never one not to speak his mind if the poster of the YT clip cut off the video short show us the genuinely one then and stop trying to debunk Marciano to fit your agenda.

Because it was Fact that Louis was "guided" to be "politically correct" on many topics. He didn't always play nice or stay quiet as seen with his speaking up during the War with racial problems and other things. But as far as Marciano and some "White" issues....come on. Especially given this was also boxing/sport. Some Champions do say "the better man one that night." Not all...especially after Ali came on to the scene. Different times.

Ali said Marciano was good but he also fought Old Fighters. Watch the full tape instead of some clip.

one of Rockys problems is that of progression of history. Presently hes a top ten ATG,but hes barely hanging onto that today. At some point hes no longer going to be a valid choice for a top ten. Lennox Lewis has forced him further down the pecking order and hes in danger of falling out fo the top ten largely because he didnt do much as a champ. Perhaps a Klitscho may displace him further, though admittedly Klitto needs an awesome late run of wins if he is to move above Rocky (not likely in my view).

Be that as it may, its only a matter of a few decades before the next 2 or 3 Lennox's come along and builds a better legacy than Rocky, and then Rocky will move further down the pecking order into the 11-20 rankings as Dempsey surely is heading now and as John L Sully did several decades previously.

Now you're changing what you said. You said if we watched the full clip we'd get the full picture whereas all that was said was "Marciano beat the old charles" "He whooped an old man" but he never said the young charles would beat him - that's YOU putting words into Ali's mouth. Making the assumptions you want to hear.

Like that's me saying "Ward beat an old Kessler" but we all know he would likely still beat a primeKessler even if the fight was closer.

Ali also said marciano was better than Frasier but you forget that too.

    I didn't forget Frazier. I didn't discuss Frazier.

And watch it again. Watch the last video AGAIN. Its at the start of the video:

Tyson's best wins are on par or even better than *anything* on Marciano's resume.

then why do you think someone who made over twenty defences is going to get beat by someone who made a handful?

contradiction, shouldnt be your middle name.

Larry Holmes said that Marciano couldn't carry his jockstrap.

Do you take Larry at his word?

If Marciano were around during Louis' prime, he would have been part of Joe's "Bum of the Month" tour...
