It would be nice if one of today's "champs" amounted to the same thing as a Champion in Marciano's day.

Throw enough "belts" around and most above average guys will win one of them. A guy like Marciano only had one to worry about, the only HW Championship of the World. He never lost to the best of his day to get it, and never lost to the best of his day while defending it.

I suppose today's HW "champs" are at a disadvantage because they need to "unify" all the belts available to be considered the Champion Marciano was. On the other side of the coin, would they even be considered for a real World Championship fight if only one belt was available? I suppose one or two would have to be out of necessity. Doesn't really matter as the day of Champions like Marciano at HW are long gone.

I liked what Rocky said at the end. He, himself, was no longer willing to give what it takes at the end of his career. He probably could have continued as champion for a while longer, but he was no longer willing to give his all... because of family pressure or whatever. He made the decision not to be Champion anymore.

Tyson and deep mental ability? Most (not all) that actually have deep mental ability are much more mentally stable than Tyson ever has been. The parenthetical has zero to do with a person of Tyson's ilk.

Anyway, Tyson is who he is.

Give me one example of when Tyson actually showed deep mental ability and I'll respond.

.........Rocco, I just wanted to mention that my girlfriend has expressed some embarrassment at having her photo used as an avatar. I tried to tell her no one could see her face in that view, so she still has the comfort of that level of anonymity, but you know........chicks are weird about stuff.

    Just an FYI there. ;)

    Not likely!

Have you consulted with a "witch" regarding your own avatar?
