Someone quoted Mr Garfield as saying Marciano sparred Jackson and Nino. I can find nothing of it on line. Not sure if anyone can confirm this?

Thank you!! Would have never found those. Was beginning to think it was a myth. Old poster named Garfield (believe he unfortunately passed) said Hurricane puked in the ring after getting tagged to the body and that Nino looked dejected after there session. Not sure what to believe but wish I could have seen those sessions.
Nino's manager claimed that he got fired for beating Marciano up. Not to be taken too seriously of course - every sparring partner has a story about how they floored or outboxed the champ. https://pasteboard.co/JDprFkn.png
Yeah. Trainer seemed bitter. But in reality all he had to do was get the win and he realistically didn’t from just about everyone’s account.
John Garfield was an incredible resource, and a perfect gentleman. I just wish that he had written a book!
To be fair, Marciano was always a poor gym trainer though. His flaws seem to REALLY come out during his sparring sessions. The Marciano that show up during fight night was not the same guy that was getting floor or out box during sparring. Marciano needed special headgear to protect his face during these sessions.
