Apology if this has been done before ,but if we put Rock in from Liston of Miami and Ali's title challengers up to Folley ,how's it pan out ? Marciano up against a ageing Liston ,a rematch ,Patterson ,Cooper ,Terrell etc.? Are any of these men enough to stop rock in his track s ?
I would expect him to beat all of them, given the circumstances. I would favor the Liston of the Patterson fight over him, but I think that Liston does enough wrong to square the circle here.
I give rock the win over Liston here to .I've always thought a prime or near enough Liston would stop Marciano ,but this version gets stopped in a war late . A rematch would be over faster . Patterson takes rocky about 7rounds . Chuvalo could give him a solid ft ,maybe goes the distance before losing a wide Dec . Cooper ,brave as he is would be battered . London likewise , doesn't see the fourth round . Mildenberger could be tricky .,maybe a late stoppage but in front on the cards Williams tries going head to head but falls in 3 . Terrell is awkward and Marciano struggles in this , but Rock drops him for a points win . Folley is brave but Marciano pummel s him for a 8 round ko .
I think Marciano beats them all. Patterson could've been a better challenge, but I think he had a bad back the night he fought Ali and I don't think he'd beat Rocky with a bad back. I'd even favor Rocky over the best Patterson. Chuvalo and Marciano could end up being a classic, but I think Marciano stops him after giving him a bad beating. Marciano would beat the rest.
