Rocky is classed as a HW but truth is their isn't a huge size difference… Considering Marciano weighed around 180-185.. I would hazard a guess that juicenelo probably walks around at about that weight too.. Rocky is taller but actually has a shorter reach… would Marciano be able to keep the guy who slayed the Smith brothers at bay?
Alvarez destroys Marciano. It's unlikely Marciano makes it to the seventh round. Look, Marciano may be the most overrated fighter in history. He had pop but no defense. His title defenses were basically against old men who were good at best. Walcott was decent but nothing special. Ezzard Charles was .... wait, I take back what I said about Marciano being the most overrated. That title would actually go to the obscenely lionized Charles. Alvarez just continues to get better as he gets older. The current version of Canelo takes out Mayweather. He actually beat Golovkin 8 rounds to 4 in both bouts and when he gets the chance he will have few problems with either Bivol or Beterbiev at 175. As I said, Alvarez wins easily over the Brockton Bum. By the way, everything I just said is a lie. This is a pretty bad question and Marciano wins without many problems at all. That is not a knock on Canelo but he is just too small to even have a chance against a man with the power of Marciano.
How about Wilder..,.I reckon Wilder can get back down to under 200 Prime Holyfield? Ali wasn't that big either.....I pick Canelo.
Rock wouldn't respect Canelo's power one bit and impose his own on him. Canelo's chin gets cracked and he goes into a deep sleep. A man that relentless and strong is hard to stop at the best of times.
More competitive that most think but Marciano would lay a gradual beatdown on him and stop him by round 7
Marciano would have killed clen Marciano was taking bombs from Walcott and Joe Louis Canelos best punch would have felt like a flea biting Rocky
I love this comparison, since both were standard bearers of boxing during mediocre eras in their weight class (of course in Marciano's time other weight classes were on fire in ways that only super flyweight can even dream of today). He's a good archtype to beat Canelo too: doesn't suck, doesn't fold, can take a punch, and has power and endurance himself. I think he breaks Canelo down by the mid to late rounds.
