Marciano v Firpo

    Firpo barely belonged in a boxing ring.

    Marciano tames him in 3 uncompetitive rounds.

    Don't sell him short, Marciano was plenty sloppy. Far more than Dempsey.

    Ive seen film of him outboxed by a bantam weight or one of the little weight classes, what the hell do people see in him?

    Marciano was a slow starter too and lacked Dempsey's speed on the attack, You're right it'd take Rocky longer, maybe much longer, 6 or 7

    Marciano takes longer to get him than Dempsey, because he was just a bit more methodical and less explosive, ever so slightly more cautious in his approach, but he would stop him nevertheless, probably around the 5th or so.
