Marciano is a better, albeit much less skilled, Norton. He'd force Norton back and out-hustle him before striking the final match late and taking Norton out. Norton's own workrate would make this really fun early on but Marciano's superior power and conditioning probably makes it more and more one-sided as it progresses.

Marciano TKO11. I would say earlier, but Marciano isn't even close to the league of punchers which stopped Norton Early.

If Rocky lands his right square Norton will go down. Whether its the 1st or the 15th. He had more than enough power. Ask Don Turner

I doubt it. Marciano landed clean on a lot of people, most of which took a while to go down. I see no reason to think Marciano would or can ice Norton, immediately.

Are folks really going to claim that Marciano was appreciably more fit or better trained than Norton? Really? Have you ever seen Norton?

you seem to be forgetting that RM used a 300 pound heavy bag? That he ran a marathon each day while training, that he trained down to 185 from a walking around weight of 230-250 so he was actually one of the biggest heavyweights, he just trained "down?" You need to refresh yourself on RM before making any more brash statements, there are literally hundreds of posts on this board embellishing everything RM did and you'd do well to educate yourself on these matters before posting. He was the fittest man to ever live, Rich Froning who?

What exactly would looking at Norton do to enlighten us?

    Power-Marciano
    Stamina-Marciano
    Chiseled physique-Norton
Norton was a physically fit man. I don’t think his stamina is as good as Marcianos though. I wouldn’t call him less physically fit then Marciano though

Rocky was a scrub catcher who turned to boxing and trained hard but really no harder than many, many other champions before and after.

Norton was a track and field star who won so many events (7) in the State of Illinois that they created The Norton Rule to limit the number of events any one athlete can enter. Eight events in a couple hours is more difficult than 10 events over 2 long days, which we know as the Decathlon. Having done a decathlon, I can tell you it takes a helluva lot of stamina. Norton also received a scholarship in Real Football. Norton turned to boxing late, also, and also trained very, very hard.

Rocky wasn’t a scrub ball player. By all accounts he was good. He was a star football player as well.
I think it’s plain to see who’s stamina and power are better. But I’d agree Marcianos training probably wasn’t much different then many other greats if not slightly more disciplined

What Puncher did Norton beat? even a completely shot Quarry rocked him. Norton could press an Ali a Holmes a Jimmy Young but once the power hit the tipping point Kenny could not back up once hurt - Kenny froze like a deer in the headlights- I am thinking Marciano Knocks him out early depending on what type of offence Kenny can hold Rocky off with but Ken could be hurt to the body and head and would back up on the ropes- Im thinking 1-3 rounds and Kennys muscles can not help his chin

I didnt say he would ice him with one shot. He could knock him down with any given punch. Kenny may get up to continue maybe survives the moment.
Norton was stopped at all phases of his career. He was stopped when as a prospect and as a contender, as well as in his older years. His chin wasnt that good. Marciano's right was. With that said I think Kenny did a good job hiding that chin. He had a successful career being a good defensive heavyweight.
