LOL I love this forum. On the one hand you have a thread where people think Corbett walks through Golovkin, and on another hand we have a thread where folks think RJJ goes 12-15 against Marciano without getting tagged. I just dunno anymore.
It's weird, isn't it? Jones' stylistic weakness was swarmers. Particularly the ones who could take his power. And Marciano could definitely take his power. On my card at least, he was down on points vs Griffin. A guy who relies on having just enough stamina to go twelve, fights at his own preferred range/pace and likes to sit on the ropes, PLUS having a weak chin, is a man who shouldn't be in the ring with Rocky Marciano.
Tbf no one picked Corbett to walk through Golovkin, they all said Golovkin would not be able to walk through Corbett.
Not to be pedantic but this was some of what was said "I honestly think he gets shut out here." "I think Corbett boxes Golovkin's ears off. GGG really has no advantages here." "Corbett pretty easily. A top 20 Cruiserweight deals with a top 20 Middleweight no problem." although I'll give you the Battle of Hastings.
You proved my point there, no one picked Corbett to walk through Golovkin. It's all about him being able to outbox Golovkin thus stop him walking through Corbett. Not to be pedantic.
Jones and his Glass Jaw wouldn’t be able to withstand Ezzard Charles, Bob Foster, Mike Spinks, Archie Moore, much less Rocky Marciano.
I think Rocky would catch up to him cuz this...skip to about 20 seconds in. This content is protected month 5 of quarantine?
Nice joke, but Roy is too fast and strong for Canelo. Evaluating just on prime/peak form, for me Roy is top 3 all time p4p
At what weight? Because I believe Marciano could make LHW fairly easily by cutting 10 lbs of water from 185 and he wouldn't even be a big LHW, but at 190 I think Marciano keeps coming, wears Roy down and lands a devastating right hand and knocks him spark out, at LHW I don't know because Marciano never fought there
