Floyd Patterson in their rematch was his final stoppage on cuts. Handed 16-0-0 Billy Daniels his first defeat on a cuts stoppage early on, but he was no Arguello when it came to carving opponents up with his fists.

I replied to this post already, but I hope you'll forgive me for another example where the winner banked everything on stopping his opponent on cuts.

Before Mike Rossman challenged the legendary Victor Galindez, he was asked how he planned to win, and very simply said, "Go for the eyes!" He succeeded with a strategy everybody felt made good sense.

Would have been a real war for six rounds or so. Then Ali would either have stopped him on a tko or cut him really badly.

Cooper was only stopped on cuts 4 times in 55 fights ,two of those were by Ali which rather reinforces the comment by Frankin Dallas that you disagree with.
The following fighters were cut by Ali:
    Billy Daniels
    Angelo Lavorante
    George Chuvalo x2
    Karl Mildenberger
    Jerry Quarry x2
    Ernie Terrell
    Earnie Shavers
    Jurgen Blin
    Joe Bugner1
    Chuck Wepner
    Floyd Patterson2
    Joe Frazier 1
    Is that enough?

Yeah that's what I thought? :huh. It wasn't like he made a habit of stopping people on cuts? Makes me laugh - and it's a bit of a lazy cop out just saying oh well Marciano got a bad cut once and Ali once cut a guy pretty bad (who got cut in virtually every fight he ever had) so oh Ali will beat Marciano on cuts then? Tyson got worse cuts against Holy are we predicting everyone beats Tyson on a cut eye??

Knew about Daniels and kinda guessed Wepner  oh yeah and Patterson but how many did he actually stop on a cut - half of those you listed might have got a little nic but nothing serious?? How many fighters did Ali stop on cuts?

    That's not what you asked,you said,and I quote.

"But outside of Henry Cooper, who was basically cut to the bone by every fighter he ever fought,"

"who else did he actually cuts at top level "

In reply I gave you 16 examples.
If you don't like the answers ,why ask the questions?:huh

Apologies think auto correct on iPad was rewording things again meant to say who did he stop on cuts at top level - it put the 'cuts' bit in there but not the "stop on" bit haha  damn you auto correct

I doubt there were more than a handful. Then again ,apart from Wepner and Cooper how many of them were known as "bleeders",Marciano certainly was.

Ali was a great fighter and he beat some big guys that were top level of his day but lets take at a look at the guys that dropped him or gave him hellish fights
    5"11 Doug Jones 188lbs, 5'10 Oscar Bonavena 204lbs, 5'11 Joe Frazier 205lbs, 6" Henry Cooper 185lbs, Sonny Banks 191, 7-0-1 Leon Spinks 6'1 197lbs

These were Ali's toughest fights, Ali himself said Marciano would be tougher battle than Frazier and was better. I dont think the least generous of Marciano ant-advocates would say any of the men above were better 2 fisted punchers, had better stamina, or as durable as Marciano so this is a tough rugged fight and pretty evenly matched. The type of 2-fisted pressure Marciano would bring against Ali make a series between them very competitive. Rounds 10-15 would be rough rounds and Marciano's right hand may be key along with his left hook and body arm shots....Ali gives anyone a battle but this may be his toughest opponent.

If it goes the full 15, unlike others, I pick Rocky by decision. The rope a dope would not have worked here, but, I doubht a prime Ali would have been dumb enough to try it. I think Ali's big chance is either on cuts or TKO similar to the second Quarry fight. It's too close for me to call, when to all time greats are throwing leather anything can and will happen.
