Marciano vs Ali

I would say Ali be a clear decision.

 

no. Marciano was a better fighter then Frazier. and Frazier gave Ali life and death for the first time in his life. I'll go with Ali split decision, but this is by no means an easy fight.

Ali would win by a late round stoppage or a clear cut decision. I think Frazier was as good if not better then Rocky. He was 20 pounds heavier then Rocky and much more aggressive. Nate Fleischer rated him as the most aggressive heavyweight in history and 2nd only to Henry Armstrong, all-time. Ali would of had a much easier time with Rocky then he did with Frazier.

 

maybe he would, but Marciano had much more punches then Frazier. Frazier really only had a left HOOK. Marciano had an uppercut, left hook, right hand, over hand right, etc..
And Marciano probably hit harder then Frazier, and while he didn't have head-movement, he could go down low, and avoid the Ali jab.
Since Ali didn't have a devastating uppercut, he could probably do that. Although I think Ali would probably beat Marciano this is not an easy fight, this would be a war, just like the Frazier fights.

 

Rock was a great fighter and a class act,but he was put on his keister twice by Moore.The Old Mongoose,the only man ever to have fought both,said Ali would have won easily when in a forum with announcer Don Dunphy amongst others.If Moore and old Charles gave the Rock so much trouble,and Archie says Ali wins,I have to go Ali by late tko.

As for my prediction


I like Ali by close unanimous decision. Just a little bit too much speed and movement for Marciano. Ali had the chin and heart to be able to absorb rocky's punishment for 15 rounds too. Rocky would stage a late rally in this one, and probably floor ali. Ali would be beat up all over afterward, while rocky's eyes would be sliced open from Ali's sharp hitting.

Yes, the same computer had Bob Foster Knocking out Joe Frazier in the 6th round. As we all know, Frazier KO'ed Foster in 2. The computer couldn't have gotten it any more wrong. I remember when this happened and they put in that Ali had an average chin. They really didn't know because Ali was very seldom hit before that time.

 

I don't believe that, even Ali talks about how hard Marciano hits. maybe we can tell by their KO percentages. haha just kidding rocky obviously ko'd more people then frazier. but Marciano hitsbharder despite the fact that Frazier is bigger.
Ali makes such a big deal about Marciano sparring with him, then he does about Frazier in those 3 epic wars.. says something snout what Ali thinks about Frazier and Marciano. even Ali says who he thinks is the better of the two, and he fought them both. (sparred Marciano)
