I agree. Foreman was just too big and powerful for Rocky. In my opinion, none of Rocky's opponents were anywhere near as powerful as Foreman. George was just a different kettle of fish.

    I'd favor Foreman by KO.

As much as I do rate Rocky, you're right in that nobody he faced was nearly as powerful as Foreman. I think you'd see Rocco being visibly shifted every time Foreman hit him.
I can't see how Rocky survives long enough to maybe exploit Foreman's weaknesses...

Foreman, early-mid round stoppage. Marciano would be tough and game, but sooner or later outgunned and overwhelmed.

Well, Jimmy Young was not as strong as Foreman, but he sure beat Big George.

I think Charles or Walcott can pull a Young on Foreman imo. Its not a foregone conclusion that Foreman would just walk over Marciano's comp.

As for the fight, I belive I favor Foreman base on styles, not because Foreman was big and strong and this unbeatable slugger. Foreman would HAVE to get Rocky out there early. No Ifs Ands or Buts about it. If he fails to, Marciano's legendary stimia would take over from the end to mid rounds.
I make Foreman a favor. But I can see the Rock winning also.

Seconded, I think people like 'Spoon and Thomas on-song would beat Foreman too. Not to mention the likes of Tunney and Schmeling too.

I just think Foreman has Rockys number head-to-head.

Foreman by KO. Not sure about the round since Marciano was one tough mutha. Could be early, could be later, just depends on how many times Marciano could keep getting up.

Styles make fights and Foreman is all wrong for Marciano.

Foreman just too big and powerful.

Marciano would destroy Young though due to his unlimited stamina. Styles make fights.

I am no white guy, try RED, 2nd, I have plenty of freinds, and 3rd, you dont even know me.
I pick Dempsey because I like his style of blowing guys out. He is fun to watch. It was hard with guys like Ross, Marciano, Armstrong, Ali, Fraizer, Louis, Walcott(Both) Gans(Greatness Lightweight of all time imo) Leonard, and others. But I went with Dempsey because I like the punchers better. It was mostly a style thing.
Marciano beat Tiger both times, the first fight Tiger Jones RAN away after 4 rounds. You dont win fights that way. Just watch Baldmair vs Zab, and you pretty much got Marciano Tiger.
LarSarza lost that fight because he got knockdown, it was the knockdown point that determind the winner there, not because of some robbery. Most accouts had it a draw.
No way in hell did Charles got robbed vs Marciano I. He got beat down, mowe down, and ran over. Pics of the post fight has Charles face smash in, both eyes close, cheeks puffy, and a bump on the Adams apple. He was in far worse shape than Marciano, who only suffer a cut over the right eye in regards to damage. Also Charles was tired badly in the last few rounds with Marciano's amazing output.

Your not worth the breath imo.

The most poisonous racists on boxing internet forums today are the people who hate Rocky Marciano because he is a white undefeated champion.

They are the most vocal, vitriolic and casualy racist of all the predudiced elements out there.
