I would like to think this fight would take place in any era with the same results over and over, but in 15 rounds not 12...we all know Holy had the stamina for 3 more rounds...

Probably would go the distance. I'll take Holyfield. Taller, heavier, longer reach, stronger. Both are strong with great chins and excellent stamina. Marciano was easier to hit. Holyfield was the better boxer and had the better foot work. both punched hard, Marciano maybe a little harder with the right hand.

I reckon Marciano takes this and by stoppage ,besides the physical and mental attributes both boxers bring to the fight ,the one thing Marciano had was that he would have done anything no matter what to win ,while Holyfield would has done his usual using his head Marciano would have no hesitation in using real down and dirty tactics ,blow the belt ,thumbs in the eyes and whatever else LOL

Holyfield was in with Tyson, Bowe, Lennox Lewis, old Foreman. He can deal with power at heavyweight. Besides that, Rocky's main advantage is stamina.

Historically, Rocky is greater. But I think Holyfield outboxes him, lands the cleaner punches.

Holyfield did have the better boxing skills, but had he ever been hit as hard as Rocky's gonna hit him...over and over

Simple....back in time fight, no GH and no steroids back then so Holy is 25lbs smaller and much weaker.

If steroids is a factor then Holy may not stand a chance....

It's never a matter of "who hit harder".
