No ****ing way Marciano beats or KO's Holy at 200 plus pounds..... Holy is head and shoulders above Ezzard Charles at 200 pounds...... Marciano was strong, but not as strong as a 'Roided' up Holy at heavyweight..... Hey, if Holy cheats, the commish allows / allowed him to get away with it... Holy is too fast, strong, and skilled for the crude but effective Marciano.......... Holy on points over Rocco.......

You don't go far enough. Marciano doesn't see the final bell. Holyfield stopped Mike Tyson. Marciano doesn't have the equipment to go the distance with a big man with talent and power. Remember, Marciano was a guy who was dropped by a fighter whose knockout percentage of sub-50 percent. Sorry to put it so bluntly, but it is what it is.

I think Marciano has taken more pounding here over the past few weeks than he ever took in the ring ... let's keep it straight ...he was a great fighter ... I personally feel he needs to be rated against guys of similiar weight like in any other division other than heavyweight ... let's say no more than 195 ... in that bracket he is without question a top guy ... some other smaller heavyweights have body types and styles that hold up a bit better against much bigger men ... Rocky won on strength, power, stamina, chin and heart ... strength and power are gone against a Tua or a Tyson or a Lewis ... it's just not fair ... even on juice he lacked the body frame and the speed ... again just my opinion ...

Say what you want about him HEgrant, but this is where I heavily disagree with you. I DO believe rocky had the body type and perfect style against bigger men. Charlie Goldman formed Rocky's whole style to beat large heavyweights. Rocky was a big boned guy, think tua or Tyson. Tua was 5'9 but a fat 225lb, Tyson was 5'10 and 220lb...Marciano with modern enhancements and benefits can easily have the same body of these guys. Marciano body type = Tua and Tyson. I strongly believe Marcianos whole style was made to destroy the bigger men, it was the small speedy types which gave him the most fits. I talked with Goody Petronelli and Peter Marciano personally, they both said Rocky if he were fighting today would fight at around 210-215lb. There is a big reason why Rockys record against men above 200lb is 11-0 with 11 knockouts.

 

at cruiser marciano would tko holyfield 100%, holyfield was very green at cruiser and he was much weaker than marciano who was very solid at cruiser. evander at hw had the experience, the skill, the stamina,the heart ,the chin,and the strength to beat rocky by close decision.

 

rocky was a big boned guy yes, but he was not very muscular. lamotta said that tyson was naturally bigger and stronger than marciano. frazier was naturally bigger than rocky as well.

 

A prime Holyfield would win.

Most ignorant poeple don't know what a PRIME HOLYFIELD actually is.


Prime Holyfield was from '86 to '93 (at the very lastest). In his prime, he did not brawl often (don't base his prime on the Qawi or Foreman fights). He movement was great and was actually hard to catch with a solid shot. He was also jumping side-to-side or movement around his opponent. He was slick in his prime.


Rocky never faced an opponent who was equal to him with regard to heart and chin (like Hoyfield).
