holyfield would stop the rock ... he'd be going inside and outside poppin him with that stiff jab ..hookin off the jab ...nailing him with timed uppercuts and hooks to the body ..

holyfield has everything marciano has in spades except power ...and if your questioning my mans heart and chin as opposed to rocky ...put rocky in there with lennox lewis for 24 rounds ... riddick bowe .. 32 rounds ... foreman ..12 rounds... some of the hardest punchers ever have tagged holyfield ..and hes yet to be knocked out due to anything but exhaustian

:smoke People bring up Holyfields stamina but i never becamea problem til he was past prime and fighting all those huge heayweights. After the second Bowe fight, Holyfield was declining. He was past 32, been in alot of wars and his skill and heart let him be able to compete at a championship level after his best years, like other great fighters. I seriously doubt a 5'9" 185lbs. Marciano could withstand the best shots of Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Riddick Bowe, or Foreman. Holyfield is bigger, stronger, more skilled, and has just as good a chin, A more proven heart and the stamina to match Marciano in his prime. In his prime, Holyfield could throw 85-100 a round.

    Marciano was 5'11, not 5'9.

he was reported to be 5'10" he looked more like 5'9" as Tyson is listed at 5'11" but is closer to 5'10"....regardless h still would get his ass handed to him...he never beat any prime great heavyweights...and what is he gonna do when he sees Holyfield can take his best shots and outmuscle him.?

Well Tyson was the same hight as Marciano. But no one dares bring that up.

IMO they both were around 5'10" maybe as short as 5'9"...regardless Holyfield would be too much for Marciano

Holyfiled will not be too much for the Rock. The early rounds will be close, but I see it as the fight goes on, Holyfiled starts to fade, and Marciano comes on strong, Holyfiled might edge it in a 12 rounder, but 15 rounds, I favor Marciano by a wide margin.

Wars takea toll on you and Holyfield's decline started after the 2nd Bowe fight, before that in most his fights he threw 80 punches a round and at Crusierweight in hi prime he ofte threw 100 punches around without tiring. Marciano is waaaaay tooo small to beat a prime Heayweight Holyfield.

I doubt a diminuitive heavyweight like Marciano will wear out the stronger more skilled Holyfield....Marciano never faced someone he couldt overpower and he wouldnt do that to Holyfield.

They would not have lasted 24 rounds in two fights with Marciano. An old Foreman would have been gone in 5 or less.

Holyfield was not much bigger than Marciano. 2 inches height, and weight same--actually less--before bodybuilding program, which got him to 205 at his best.

Holyfield was 3-4 inche taller once he settled at heavyweight he was 208-210lbs. thats almost 20 pounds, and couple that with being stronger and more skilled....Marciano gets his ass whooped. Im tired of people making this guy seem invincible and he competed in one of the worst eras in havyweight history, While Holyfield competed in one of the deepest ever.

Big George would have an easier time with Marciano than he did with Frazier, You thought he lifted Fraazier. and Lennox Lewis would take Marciano's had off. His jab, size, nd skills wold be too much. Marciano would have got destroyed in the 90's hevyweight era...h was too small, too easy to hit, and a swarmer doesnt last long at the highest level

A prime Holyfield anywhere from 1988-1993, would beat the Rock and rather handedly at that. I can't imagine Evander doing any worse than a 37 year old Walcott or a 38 year old Moore. He was stronger and was in better condition. His chin was tested and then some, along with having successfully utilized his skill against a broad range of different profiles. I see a lot of inside work done here with regular clashing of heads. Rocky is going to get cut up here, and by the mid rounds is going to start looking ugly. Swarmers were not the types of fighters who generally had a very good night with Holyfield.

    Holyfield by stoppage.
