Wlad would easily beat Marciano. He's to small, and not very mobile.
I think Joe Louis could beat Wlad though. Louis was one bad mofo with skills to boot!

the 50s fight styles to now would just be to different. Vlad would knock him from side to side. please before posting think about what your saying.. this is clearly just a guy who gets upset cos his idol was good for his time. but no longer would match up now...

Look at tini tiny Joe Louis, not only beating the **** out of a much larger man, but handling himself well in the clinches.

And you can't tell me Primo was weak. The mother ****er could probably pick up a normal man over his head with both hands and then collapse him over his knee.

Really, so a man who beat Ezzard Charles, Walcott, Moore and Louis, had no skill?

Damn, I guess if you got a punch you can easily go 49-0 against a murders row of opposition.

just watched a bit of it there, and see your comparision to his frame, and his height, and he does look like wlad, but seriously that guy aint got no defense he doesnt plant his feet, he aint even using his hight to his advantage, a sound boxer like wlad could probally beat these to in the same night

There was a larger tallent pool of fighters during the 50's the crowd was more viscious, fighters went more rounds, and the video I posted clearly showed a huge heavy, with more skills than Wlad, being battered by a guy from the 50's, yet the styles today are better than before?

And this is despite guys like Bernard Hopkins and his trainer, Nazim, students of the game, saying guys today can't fight.

You really think that styles in the 50's were primitave?

    I mean, ****, it's your opinon. I'm just asking a question.

Canera was never anything great though was he, the big men of the 30's 40's and 50's are nothing like the big men today.

    And Wlad has defense?

Wlad slaps your hand away, dangerous within itself, because it leaves you open. If he tries that against Haye, he will be hit once Haye times him.

What else does Wlad do? Stick his arms straight out and lean back?

Carnera does the same thing, but Louis jumps on him and doesn't give him time to breath.

Wlad opponents are either terrified of him, or can't fight worth a ****.

Sam Peter could even catch him and you don't think Louis who is much faster and much better puncher could catch him?

That's because smaller men who could punch just as hard, IE Louis and Marciano didn't give big men the chance to fight.

Big men were just big targets that could be picked apart and battered by smaller, faster, more explosive punchers.

Carnera looks good to me. He's like a Wlad with balls.

Ask skilled as Wlad is, and with a 55+ pound weight advantage, and 8 inch height advantage, and 14 inch reach advantage, and that P4P jab of his, Marciano would be getting his ass knocked around the ring.

Marciano would be winging every punch. That fight would not be competitive in the slightest

At least Rocky wont go down from the first jab thrown by Wlad.
Marciano will be a small target with iron will, great chin and huge punch. I wont be surprised if he beats Wlad by late KO 6 out of 10 fights.

Marciano will slip Klitschko's jab and counter the **** outta him. He will smash Klitschko's already fragile chin to pieces.

Wlad's size never gave him a chin, so what's he gonna do when he can't hit his opponent, but his opponent can hit him and also happens to be a monster puncher?

Wlad's gonna get knocked out, that's what.

I can understand that there are a lot of people here that don't understand punching power, and that's okay, but I'm trying to tell ya'll that I've seen and know from first hand expereince that size is not indicative of punching power.

joe louis was well in his 40's when he fought marciano, many people had marciano as the favourite and wasnt he coming back from retirement, primo may be able to lift a man above his head, but so can proffesional body builders, do they suddenly get given a chance to beat a proffesional boxer

im saying a fighter with a superior boxing style (wlad), or a fighter who is awkward and tough (peter) will beat maricano
