Yep, exactly. For one, Marciano hits harder and has more stamina than everyone you said. Two, the knockout scenario was only if it was psychotic breakdown McCall. If its normal McCall I think Marciano wins via UD

Yep, just like how Shavers, old Foreman, Lyle, Tyson, Cooney, Dempsey etc hit harder than Lewis

You find this a very far fetched scenario?

    OK, I'll humor you.

Old George Foreman who couldn't even dent the soft mandibles of Alex Stewart and Tommy Morrison hit harder than the guy tore Vitali's face in half, than the guy who had 10KO's in 15 title fights in an era of giant powerpunchers, than the guy who blasted Morrison himself?

Who is Lyle? Was that the guy who KO'd Boone Kirkman and... well, maybe you can fill me in.

Tyson certainly hit hard but by his own admittance and those who faced him (and many who also faced Lewis) he brokered on his speed.

Cooney... hmm... Well, he was like Marciano in that he made his name as a puncher off old men and wags like Gil Clancey.

Jack Dempsey? Do you think an old, flabby, retired Willard would have lived to the second round if Lewis were able to stand over him every time he fell and tee off against a defenseless position? Do you think Tommy Gibbons goes 12 against Lewis without at the very least tasting the canvas?

    Cool story, brah.

Yes that old george foreman who holyfield said was the hardest puncher he ever faced

Ron Lyle was an incredible power puncher who fought Ali, knocked down foreman, and fought many others. He was feared as the second george in his generation after Foreman retired

Cooney was the hardest puncher foreman ever faced, according to foreman

Dempsey fought more than just Willard, and willard had never been knocked down in his ENTIRE career. Of course he was flabby, its hard to have a great physique when you're 6'7" in the 1910s. He was still athletic with an iron chin. He also brutalized Luis Firpo, knocking him down 7 times. Tommy Gibbons had an iron chin, only being knocked out by ATG gene tunney in the twilight of his career. Also dempsey was stated to have "lacked his usual sharpness and power" and was cut above the eye by chance in the 2nd round, which made his vision poor: http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Jack_Dempsey_vs._Tommy_Gibbons

Yes, I find it far fetched that a vastly undersized attrition puncher who has zero record against even close-to-prime modern-sized heavies would KO a guy who fought to almost 50 and faced a slew of big, world class punchers and barely ever winced. Yes, I find that far fetched.

Watch on youtube how they bench on IPF meet... Butt cannot come of the bench, paused - judge says press when the bar is completely motionless, heels on the floor and feet cannot move... He obviously could not bench press 220 or 225 kg if he followed that rules.

Please. Moorer, Tyson, Holy all stopped him. Maskaev and Goofi, too. And some others. Sure, Old Foreman hit hard. I have professed that for as long as I have been on here. But, Lewis hit harder. He was a far more dynamic puncher. A huge, hugely strong guy who sharp shot (at his best). Case in point was Tyson beating on Ruddock for how many rounds? Lewis sharp shot him once and the fight was essentially over.

But in case of Tyson-Lewis discussion, how many rounds Tyson needed against Bruno? 5 and 3. And Lewis?

I can't say who hit harder based on these fights. By the Ruddock fight it seems Lennox, by the Bruno fights seems like Mike. By the Holyfield fights - about even.

Oh yes, Dillian Whyte probably benches around 330-340 cleanly with strict rules (based on that video). Which isn't that bad for boxer too.

Its fine to pit Marciano with these big heavies ,I have my doubts he would do well myself but-----
I think the bottom line is how many under 200lbs fighters would any of us back with confidence to beat Rocky?
