I only had a few posts & most of them came in that Solaris/TerryTibbs thread where I was telling them to grow up. I was always a lurker - and still will be. I just had to out this Fergy fella because it's embarrassing. Btw, I'm a fan of your posts McVey. The classic forum is a much better read than the troll filled general.

It was just obvious to me this new James poster was Fergie. It was blatantly obvious so I checked when I had two mins to spare in work, and right enough, they have the same IP addresses.

Fergy is a Tyson nuthugger who gets all warm inside when he see's Tyson being discussed. He views him as the alpha male of all males. He makes so many Tyson threads that sometimes he needs to make a neutral one to hide his obsession - but these neutral threads normally almost always contain Tyson opponents. So he knows Tyson will be discussed at one point. Now he's made an alt to discuss Tyson with. Cringe. Let's just say I'm a master psychologist and know how these people work. Tyson seems to be the most worshipped boxer of all time. I'm a huge fan myself but to make another account to purposely post about him to each other it's bizarre.

I can see the rationale that if Marciano survives the early storm his chances increase dramatically, problem is he has to absorb that early storm without being stopped or badly cut. The premise that Tyson will magically fall apart in the later rounds is based on him not scoring many stoppages late.Conversely Marciano pulled the fat from the fire late in several fights.It never seems to occur to those favouring Rocky ,that Tyson' s early onslaught was so overwhelming that it resulted in early kos ! Marciano was more of an attrition puncher imo ,he usually ground down his opponents with an incessant bombardment, consequently after shipping such punishment several men who faced him were never the same again.Walcott, Layne Lastarza,Charles, were significantly diminished after one turn in the barrel with Rocky.A past peak Tyson still had the power to drop big quality heavyweights like Ruddock and Douglas late.Anyone who thinks Tyson suddenly gets turned into a pumpkin at midnight is reaching imo.
