Some of the answers are interesting, though.

Allegedly during an ESPN segment one of the "Analysts"(Skip Bayless) said that Lennox Lewis would lose to Rocky Marciano because Marciano was 49-0 and Lewis had lost twice.

The other analyst (either one of the boxing guys or Stephen A. Smith) then proceeded to explain that Lennox Lewis was 6'5 240 and Marciano was 5'11 180.

    Bayless promptly shut up.

Hey but don't forget! Byrd was a small heavyweight who could beat Vatali but it happened many years ago.

Marciano would need a baseball bat and a ladder to win this fight

Marciano was a f*cking CW by today's standards. Ridiculous poll. The more interesting question is, what round would he KTFO every great CW in history?

If Marciano fought him he would not come in under 200. He is a bit taller than Tyson is, and not much less than Holyfield. Marciano always did what a lot of others of time did, train down to as low a weight as possible. Vitali would be another story, but I can see Marciano beating Vlad.

the only fighter overrated by his fans more than the Klitschko Bros is the rock. I do not think it the size that matters rather that the rock is not as good as his fans think. That being said it would not be as one sided as some on here think, yes he is the smaller man . . . but he has the style that could be effective against the bros. The rock has an outside shout at wlad because of his suspect chin and he could out hustle big bro, i would say he would win maybe 3-4 match ups out of 10 against either. so many on here forget about how tough these guys were, unlike the prima donnas of today . . . can anyone say toe injury . . . or mystery shoulder injury?

Sure.. Rocky's victories in the 50's cruiserweight divisions, suggests that he could beat a 240+ IBS elite heavyweight

Vitali or Wladimir by vicious KO. Multiple knockdowns in this fight scored by either brother due to Marciano's heart.

Marciano was great for his time but let's be real here.
No fighter in history gives away 50lbs+ and 13" in reach to an elite HW and wins, crazy talk.

Marciano was basicaly a crusierweight the 190 kind not the 200 kind who basicaly fought other 190 guys. V. Klitschko is a superheavyweight with decent boxing abillity.
This is not going to be close or last long.

Marciano's too small. He'd lose this fight.

I think that if Byrd and Vitali fought 9 more rematches, that Byrd would get 9 koed 9 times. Same with Wlad-Brewster.

Wlad-Byrd, Bowe-Holyfield, Lewis-Holyfield are really good examples on how size matters when talking about top level HWs.

And please, don' even mention the likes of Carnera and Willard. Those guys never really knew how to utilise their size advantages. They are just at same level as that of Savarese, no way can be categorised as elite.
