No one in their right mind picks Rocky. He stands 0 chance. In fact, if we could go into negative chances. I would say it's about 500% in the negative.

in this age a fight like this would have to be fought in Chad, Niger, Alabama or some similar place. No reputable commission or board would sanction such a mismatch.

    Ya'll are ridiculous.

I think most of ya'll are some scared ass bitches that can't punch for ****.

Fighters from the past....like Dempsey and Louis proved size wasn't an issue if you were a murderous puncher.

In those cases, size was used against them.

And don't tell me Vitali was tougher than Jess Williard...

    That's bull****.

    Vitali quit against Chris Byrd.

Marciano is way too light, his best weight was 184lbs, a massive 64lbs less than a Peak Vitali.

That **** is like Pac vs Margarito.

    and

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ovh8VkTxYI[/ame]

Primo Carnera fights very cautious like Wlad, but is a bigger man that both him and his brother. This was before the era of steriods which Vitali was caught using.

When met with an aggressive small man who wasn't afraid to fight...DESTRUCTION.

Remember Ibriganov vs Klitschko...Klitschko couldn't land ****, but Ibrigamov didn't bring his balls to the fight.

These guys back then....THEY HAD BALLS.

Wlad ain't got no chin, and Vitali couldn't take the heat with Chris Byrd and got the **** BEAT OUTTA HIM by an OLD AS HELL LEWIS to the point to where he was holding on like a homosexual.

These guys are good, but they are way too overrated especially considering there is nobody today with any courage...

They're all pussies like ya'll, if they are bigger than you, ya'll run away like cowards...and they **** your girl...

    Ya'll are a disgrace...

Shouldn't Demspey have been too light? And certainly Joe Louis was too small.

    Look at the outcome.

And don't tell me Williard and Carnera didn't fight anybody.

They fought the BEST of their time.

This was the best there was in boxing in very competitive and BLOODTHIRSTY eras...

You ever seen a man take the beating that Williard did?

    Please...

    Ya'll mother ****ers ain't ****.

Wlad's best opponent was either Chris Byrd or David Haye, two men who were only slightly bigger than Marciano. In fact, Byrd would end up fighting at a lighter weight than Marciano ever did.

lol @ ppl. comparing the Klit bros to the Willards and Carneras
    .

Carnera was nothing but a prehistoric Valuev; a freakshow with little skills who got a hold on the title thanks to the mob arrangements.

Willard was a big ol' farmboy who laced up the boxing gloves at the age of 27; he's widely regarded as one of the weakest HW champions of all time, and got the title from an old Jack Johnson who IMO was nothing special to begin with, apart from being the 1st. ever black HW champion

Rocky was great and is one of the most loved and popular HW champions ever, but him and any other HW before the 60's stand next to no chance against the bros.

You aren't seriously comparing Vitali Klitschko's power, speed, defense, chin, skillset, reflexs & athleticism to Primo Carnera are you? Cause that would be ridiculous...........just saying.:deal

Dude, for all the arguing we've done in the past I still consider you a knowledgeable poster..............but comparing either Klitschko to Willard or Carnera is off the charts comedy. Seriously.

You know I'm a big K2 fan but I also appreciate Joe Louis, Ali, Lewis, etc. That's why I'm rarely in those threads that say "either Klit KO's Ali or Louis within 3 rounds" and stupid **** like that. I also don't usually respond to stupid posts like "Ali would dance circles around Vitali or Wlad & make him look silly" because it's impossible to gauge given the size, speed, accuracy, power, etc. of the fighters involved. There aren't any common or even similar opponents to compare them to. Ali never fought a big athletic guy like either Klit & K2 never faced anyone of Ali's tenacity, speed or athleticism.

Louis & Ali were ATG's of the highest order & they'd be tough if not impossible fights for any Heavy in history
, just as the Klits would be, George Foreman would be, Tyson would be, & Lennox Lewis would be. Rocky was also a great but I just think he's a step below the others I mentioned. I consider Jack Dempsey arguably better suited to fight K2 than Rocky because he demolished Willard with such ease but Willard ain't a Klitschko...............

Chris Byrd is a much better opponent than David Haye IMO, and history will agree with me I'm sure. I'd rate Samuel Peter, Chambers, Thompson & especially Calvin Brock over Haye since those guys all had better success against Wladimir. What exactly is Haye's Heavyweight claim to fame anyway? Beating old shot Barrett, old shot Ruiz, old neverwas Audley or barely escaping with a win over Valuev. Valuev was beaten more clearly by Chagaev, Holyfield & Larry Donald.

They also used much smaller gloves back then which accounts for the power you see in Dempsey vs. Willard. Vitali didn't get the **** beat outta him by Lewis either, it was a close fight that had VK leading against an ATG Heavy. Yes he lost by TKO but that was on cuts, not because he was knocked out or even knocked down. It still counts as a win but let's keep it in perspective.

Wlad landed good enough to knock Iggy down didn't he? Even if it wasn't called we all know it was a clean, 1 punch knockdown that the ref missed.

Look at Carnera's lack of speed & lack of a respectable, powerful jab against Louis.
